Avenged Sevenfold

Avenged sevenfold, often shortened to A7X are an american heavy metal band from Huntington beach California. They formed in 1999 and the original band consisted of:

M. Shadows doing lead vocals
Zacky Vengeance on rhythm guitar and backing vocals
Matt Wendt on bass
The Rev on drums and backing vocals

The current band is as follows:

M. Shadows doing lead vocals

Synyster Gates on lead guitar, piano and backing vocals
Johnny Christ on bass
The current drummer is Mike Portnoy of Dream theater, he is currently on tour with the band while the find a replacement for the late great Jimmy 'The Rev' Sullivan who died on the 28th of December 2009. R.I.P

M. Shadows the lead vocalist of the band since its formation in 1999, contributed vocals to all 5 of A7X's studio albums, 17 singles and 2 EP's.

Zacky Vengeance has played rhythm guitar and sang backing vocals from the earliest day of A7X. He contributed his talents in all 5 studio albums, 17 singles and 2 EP's

Synyster Gates has been playing lead guitar and singing backing vocals with A7X since 2000, he joined the band at age 18 and has made major contributions to all of the Avenged sevenfold releases.

Johnny Christ is the current bassist for avenged sevenfold. He replaced former bassist Dameon Ash in 2003 and has been the bassist for A7X ever since. He contributed his bass playing talents along with backing vocals on the latter 4 of the 5 avenged sevenfold studio albums.

Bullet For My Valentine
Bullet for my Valentine are a welsh heavy metal band from Bridgend started in 1998. The original band consisted of:

Matthew Tuck singing the lead vocals
Michael Paget playing lead guitar
Michael Thomas on drums
Nick Crandle playing bass
